Bio

Mercedes Dib Avaro was born in Cordoba, Argentina; where she attended the School of Fine Arts. She graduated with an M.A in Visual and Fine Arts in 1999. ” Fashion Stylist”, Fashion Institute of Technology of NY -2004- Strategic marketing post degree at Belgrano´s University 2008.
Since early in her career, she has participated in numerous international exhibitions in Austria, Spain and the United States , as well as her native country Argentina.
In 2002, Mercedes Dib Avaro was solely chosen to Represent, Argentina in the European Body Painting Festival held in Austria. She was awarded the 6th place out of 150 artists worldwide.
The use of Color, Image, and Rhythm distinguish her work. Her paintings are collected by people in the entertainment and business world. Mercedes has been working in advertising, for different companies in Argentina, Latin America, Europe and the United States (Atlas Media Corp. NY; Conceive media, NY and California; Smitherman & Barnwel New York Company; in their art department.)
